Madrid, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno RodrÃguez Parrilla denounced today that the US government is imposing a collective punishment against the people of the Caribbean island, reinforced to unprecedented levels.
During his participation in the Ministerial Dialogue of the XXX Ibero-American Summit with Associate and Consultative Observers, RodrÃguez Parrilla stated that under an energy embargo that is equivalent to a naval blockade, Washington applies or threatens to apply secondary sanctions to individuals or entities that maintain, legitimately and sovereignly, economic and commercial relations.
His words, shared on his social media account, also pointed to Cuba’s willingness to actively participate, with its experience and knowledge, in cooperation projects and exchange spaces aimed at the benefit of our peoples.
The Foreign Minister, who heads the Cuban delegation at the Ibero-American summit, also thanked the organizers of this meeting, as part of the efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Conference and extra-regional partners.
The XXX Ibero-American Summit officially opens tonight at the Teatro Real in Madrid, although since last Sunday it has been promoting business and digital-focused meetings (especially with AI), which will be adopted today by the high-level segment.
