During a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian asserted that the historical ties of cooperation between Beijing and Havana do not allow for rumors or slander.
The spokesman emphasized that the Asian nation will continue to defend the national sovereignty of its people and oppose any form of external interference in the internal affairs of states.
The Chinese government ‘s response comes after the publication of a 100-page report issued by the U.S. State Department , entitled “Cuba: The Capital of Communism in the 21st Century.”
