Guantanamo, Cuba, June 29 (Prensa Latina) The National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico (Conacyt) published a compilation of articles on the sustainability of environmental management in its country and Cuba, one of the authors reported today.
Environmental Management and Business Sustainability, Cuba-Mexico Cases is the title of the work edited by Conacyt and the University of Veracruz, which will allow scholars and researchers to learn about and compare the actions carried out in both countries on these issues.
The PhD in Science Happy Salas explained to Prensa Latina the idea arose as a joint initiative of the University of Camagüey, Cuba, and the University of Veracruz.
According to the academician from the University of Guantánamo, the book includes several case studies by specialists from both countries, in which topics such as social participation in protected natural areas, environmental proactivity in the hotel sector or environmental management accounting are analyzed, all of great interest for socioeconomic development.

At the moment, another book is in the editing process, also related to these issues, the specialist announced.
