Goal Against Blockade to Cuba in Mexico

Mexico, Oct 15 (Prensa Latina) A goal against the blockade was the soccer match that Mexicans and Cubans dedicated in this capital to solidarity with the island and in rejection of the policy of siege imposed by the United States, it was reported on Monday.

In the field of Avenida Constituyentes in the Miguel Hidalgo office the Cuban Embassy met to reject the blockade against that country, together with members of the Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MMSC).

Diplomats, Cuban relatives and Mexican friends also spoke out against the economic, commercial and financial blockade that for decades Washington has imposed on the people of Cuba.

Jesus Escamilla, leader of the MMSC, said “the United States has taken many things from Cubans, but never their joy or their hope in a better world.”
