Cuba’s National Assembly to Hold First Sessions of the Year

Havana, Jun 29 (Prensa Latina) The National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba will hold its first regular session this year on July 21, convened by its president, Juan Esteban Lazo Hernandez, Granma newspaper reported today.

The official call is addressed to the Permanent Working Commissions of the National Assembly of People’s Power, so regular meetings of work and study of the Draft Constitution of the Republic will be held on July 18, 19 and 20.

The sessions corresponding to the Ninth Legislature of the National Assembly of People’s Power will be held at the Conference Center in this capital.

According to the official note published in Granma newspaper, the call was issued to the members of the Cuban Parliament, agencies of the central government of the State and other bodies and authorities.
