Cuban First Vice President Tours Asia

Havana, Sep 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuba’s First Vice President, Salvador Valdes, began today a tour of Asian socialist countries, informed a note released by official sources.

The tour will include his participation in the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and the commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the first visit to Vietnam by the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

During his visit, the First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers will also make a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

The Cuban delegation is also integrated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina; and the director of Asia and Oceania, Alberto Blanco.
