United States Caravan Against Blockade on Cuba Announced

Washington, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) The organizations of Cuban emigration in Miami that make up the Alianza Martiana coalition are calling for a new caravan of cars against the blockade for next Saturday, a press release reported on Monday.

The Antonio Maceo Brigade, the Martiana Alliance -as an individual organization-, the José Martí Cultural Association, the Association of Women in Defense of the Family, the Bolivarian Circle of Miami and the ATC, made the call in support of the immediate and unconditional lifting of the blockade against the island and the full normalization of relations between the two countries.

According to the note, the caravan is a support to the vote against the blockade that will take place on October 31 by the UN General Assembly, as well as to urge voters to support candidates that favor the normalization of relations between the peoples of the United States and Cuba in the next by-elections.
