Venezuela Rejects US Senator Marco Rubio’s Statement Against Dialogue

Caracas, Jan 11 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela rejected today the statements of Republican Senator Marco Rubio against the government”s dialogue with opposition sectors to achieve an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence.

The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodriguez, stated that the nation “will be victorious in the dialogue for peace and sovereignty of our Homeland!”, And stressed that the aggressors “will be left out of history”.

In her Twitter account, the president of the sovereign forum rejected statements by Senator Rubio, who relapsed in his interventionist actions in the internal affairs of Venezuela.

Rodriguez accused the right-wing politician of the US Congress of pretending ‘with his improper, rude and vulgar gestures, imploding the dialogue to facilitate violence to the opposition.’

On Thursday government and opposition delegations will be in the Dominican Republic which led the politician from Florida, United States, to question the dialogue and also qualified the ANC illegitimate, a power chosen democratically by over eight million people in July.

Rubio threatened that the US government will not lift the sanctions against the country “even if the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro coerces or deceives some people in opposition to accept lobbying for it.”
