The Vote is a Right of all the Cubans

cuba-elecciones2015[1]Havana, Apr 15 (Prensa Latina) The vote in Cuba keeps on being today a right and a civic duty and, in contrast to other countries, it does not constitute a juridical obligation, indicates today the newspaper Granma. All the citizens older than 16 years of age, who are not cases of incapability as regulates the proper constitution and the Electoral Law have access to the vote.

The Electoral Law points out that there will have full right to the vote all the people resident permanently in the nation for a period not less than two-year.

Granma specifies that in the elective process to determine the delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of the People’s Power the vote is characterized for being free, equal, direct, nominal, preferential and secret.
