Converse Hall, 107

Cuba is a country few Americans have visited. Sarah Lawrence College has a long-standing study abroad semester program where students take courses organized by Sarah Lawrence and through direct enrollment at the University of Havana. Students take a core course in Cuban culture and society, an advanced Spanish language course, and electives in the humanities, social sciences, or visual or performing arts. Students with a minimum of four semesters of Spanish (or the equivalent) and an interest in studying in a country with a rich history should come learn more about Cuba and the program. Prema Samuel, study abroad director at Sarah Lawrence in New York, will be giving an information session on Monday, February 15 at 4:30 p.m. in Converse 107.
