Seminar on Journalism and Tourism Begins in Cuba

Havana, Jun 25 (Prensa Latina) An international seminar on journalism and tourism begins today five days of sessions in Havana with the attendance of 65 reporters from 12 countries who will hear an update report on this industry in the island.

The organizing committee announced today that this 13th International Seminar on Journalism and Tourism includes 40 reporters from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru, Mexico and the United States.

In this meeting at the Jose Marti International Institute of Journalism, the Spanish hotel chains Iberostar and Melia will have an important participation with their presentations and updates of their businesses in Cuba. Representatives of Canada’s Blue Diamond Hotels will also talk with the communicators.
