Montenegro Favors Relations with Cuba

The Cuban Ambassador thanked Foreign Minister Srdan Darmanovic for Montenegro’s vote at the UN General Assembly to the resolution ‘Need to end to the economic, commercial and finance blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba’.

Belgrade, Mar 30 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister of Montenegro Srdan Darmanovic assessed positively the relations with Cuba, and stated to move forward to increasing contacts at all levels.

Darmanovic received yesterday Cuban Ambassador to Montenegro, Gustavo Tristan del Todo, in a meeting after the presentation of his Credential Letters to President Filip Vujanovic.

The Minister also drew attention to his country efforts to become member of the European Union, main goal of its external policy.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked Montenegro’s vote at the UN General Assembly to the resolution presented by his country ‘Need to put an end to the economic, commercial and finance blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba’.

Finally the Foreign Minister expressed the Caribbean ambassador his best wishes in the success in the performance of its work.
