Havana, May 30 (Prensa Latina) The 3rd International Congress on Economic Management and Development continues today in Havana with the analysis of the challenges of accounting in the process of updating the Cuban economic model.
Jose Carlos del Toro, of the Ministry of Finance and Prices, is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech about this issue.
Among other topics under debate today at the Conference Center in Havana, venue of the Congress, is Cryptocurrencies, international trends, by National Accounting prizewinner, Joaquin Infante.
Nearly 400 professionals from 10 countries are participating in this forum, they will also analyze, in a panel, The strengthening of Cuban banking, its progress and challenges, Ethics and prevention in public administration, and internal control as a premise of a good governance.
Another issue is A circular economy experience with cooperative participation, by Alfredo Jam Masso, of the Cuban Ministry of Economy and Planning.
Parallel to this congress, which concludes on Friday, June 1, is the 12th Meeting on Accounting, audit and finance, 3rd Meeting on Management and business management, the 4th Meeting on Cooperativism and the 5th Meeting on Public administration for development.
In addition to the discussion of more than 190 papers, the scientific program includes the keynote speech: the Process of computerization of the Cuban society, main impacts and developments, by Deputy Communications Minister Wilfredo Gonzalez.
