Havana, Apr 22 (Prensa Latina) Dutch company Enza Seeds is now developing a big cooperation with Cuba’s Liliana Dimitrova Institute of Horticultural Investigations.
This cooperation is oriented to the development of seeds for tomato and other fruits and vegetables, they said here Sunday.

The collaboration includes the advice and supervision by experts from Enza Seeds in this technology, and in the introduction, testing and evaluation of new cultivations.
Mangeri asserted that in a little time, new hybrids of tomato and pepper got generalized in Cuba, taking advantage of the weather conditions and the resistance of the hybrids to different diseases.
There is an important growth in the struggle against pests and the use of biological means to control diverse diseases is frequent.
Mangeri, who explained that 70 percent of the time of investigation is dedicated to the seeds, a sphere that demands a lot of study and experiments and in which improvisation should not be used, because cheap things turns out expensive, and without seeds, there is no agrcultural production.
