Cuba: Old Havana in Cuba. AHI Travel, the tour and travel provider endorsed by ADA Business Resources, is offering a 10-day trip to Cuba, which offers 12 hours of continuing education credits to ADA members.

American Dental Assiciation (ADA) members interested in exploring and experiencing Cuba, while earning continuing education credits, are encouraged to sign up for the New Travels in Cuba…New Adventures in Endodontics CE program and trip.

During the April 29-May 7 trip, dentists can earn 12 hours of CE credit by attending endodontic-themed seminars given by Dr. John Olmsted, past president of the American Association of Endodontics. The seminars will cover diagnosis, tips for biochemical irrigation, restoration with fiber posts, postoperative care and more.

Operated by AHI Travel, the tour and travel provider endorsed by ADA Business Resources, the seminars are interspersed with opportunities to explore the vibrant culture, art, history and people of Cuba.

The 10-day tour begins in Miami and includes four days in Havana, one day in Pinar del Rio (rural Cuba) and three days in Cienfuegos, Cuba. According to ADA Business Resources, the trip showcases the country’s opulent architecture, vintage automobiles and unique cuisine. As part of the program, dentists also have the opportunity to visit a dental clinic at the University of Havana.

The Cuba trip and CE program is authorized by a U.S. Department of the Treasury general license and the People-to-People educational exchange program. For more information, contact AHI Travel at 1-844-205-1171 or visit ADA.ahitravel.com.
