Havana, Oct 10 (Prensa Latina) Cuba is to attend the 25th Panamerican Congress of Naval Engineering, Maritime Transport and Port Engineering organized by the Panamerian Institute of Naval Engineering (IPIN) to be held in Panama from October 16 thru 19.
The Cuban section of the IPIN,part of the Panamerican organization, confirmed it will be represented at the venue by eight delegates who will present papers accepted by the Organizing Committee of the event for their novelty and scientific update.
According to its organizers, the forum -25th Copinaval- is the great biennial vwenue of professionals, academicians, businesspeople linkwed to the naval, maritime and portuary sectors, where they share experiences of naval and portuary engineering, sea transport and logistic, as well as sea sustainability, among others.
It will also enable the exchange and contacts with potential partners in joint business opportunities and suppliers of equipment, commodities and materials for naval construction of Panama and other countries of the continent present in the Congress.
It will take place in the Convention Center Megapolis of the Hard Rock Hotel, Panama City.
Work sessions will open two senior lectures in charge of renowned specialists, as well as six symposiums on Marine Corrosion, Maritime Education, Legal Maritime Aspets, Submarine and Offshore Operations, Maritime Maintenance and Sea Transportation.
There will be a contest for students, in which the most promising work will be awarded presented by the new generation, including the realization of a commercial fair with the participation of enterprises linked to the maritime activity.
