Cuba-Hungary Business Committee to Meet in Havana

Havana, Oct 26 (Prensa Latina) The Cuba-Hungary Business Committee will hold its fifth working meeting on Friday to discuss the progress of this body, the Chamber of Commerce of the island announced in Havana.

The signing of the Action Plan for 2018-2019, the holding of bilateral business meetings, and the participation of Hungarian businessmen in the 36th edition of the Havana International Fair, to be held from October 29 to November 2, are expected during the event, the report said.

The European nation’s delegation, led by Mr. Tamas Gyenese, president of the Hungarian bilateral committee, is made up of representatives of companies from the agricultural-food, energy, medical equipment and construction sectors.

The host side is led by the Chamber of Commerce vice president Ruben Ramos Arrieta, and the President of the Cuban Business Committee, Tamara Taylor Delgado.

The Cuba-Hungary Business Committee was established in 2005, under the auspices of the Chambers of Commerce and in collaboration with the diplomatic missions from both countries, the statement said.

The holding of the sixth session of the Business Committee is scheduled for 2019 during the visit of a multi-sectoral delegation to Hungary organized by the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.
