Che Guevara: An Example for Cuban Workers’ Movement

Image result for signs of che guevara in cuba imagesPinar del Rio, Cuba, Oct 6 (Prensa Latina) Ulises Guilarte, secretary general of the Cuban Workers” Central Union (CTC) defined today Ernesto Che Guevara as an ethic and political example for the workers” movement in Cuba.

‘His example, his ideas and humanist thought are basic for the improvement of our economic model’, said Guilarte after delivering the commemorative plaque with the name of Che Guevara to the Company of Electric Components in Pinar del Rio, one of the 50 companies to be granted the plaque.

The ceremony was attended by Miguel Diaz-Canel, first Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, and Ramiro Valdes, Commander of the Revolution, who visited the areas of the company in charge of manufacturing toner cartridges and assembling photovoltaic panels.

The company, founded in 1987 by historic leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro seeking to reduce imports, will manufacture 60,000 components this year with a quality praised in various countries.

The commemorate plaque will also be granted to the Center of Containers located here, which is in charge of supplying boxes and directions for use of medicines to the group BioCubaFarma.
